DescriptionLooking for a possible roost, a Hardwicke's Wooly Bat approaches a pitcher of Nepenthes baramensis. In some habitats this bat will sleep nowhere else but within these pitchers, and research has shown that the plants derive much of their nutrients from the bat's droppings.
