DescriptionA large male Southwest Bornean Orangutan from the swampy forests of Tanjung Puting National Park. This is Borneo's most widespread subspecies of orangutan, with an estimated 30-40,000 individuals remaining. They are nevertheless considered Critically Endangered due to rapid habitat loss.
